Rise and Shine: It’s 6 AM.

Phew. 8 days of work until the Christmas holidays. Crazy times I would call this, getting up at half past five to write on my assignments, working the whole day and trying to be social. Well, I’m not being that social But my brain is happy for all the thinking it gets to do.

Summertime in Ljubljana.

Speaking of Ljubljana – I love their idea of taking the library outdoors:

1st Year In Bratislava–part 3

In May I visited Finland and cuddled with Sasha. We started making smoothies and my Slovak studies were doing so-and-so.




Our favourite restaurant Idyla is nearby, it’s cheap and the food is delicious. One of my favourite dishes is Devil’s Camebert. No summer without a trip to Hungary. Budapest was lovely as always and Eger was a cosy little town.


 

I did not find many pictures from July. At least I had some food, it seems.




The highlight of August was our holiday in Slovenia. That is one lovely country. We stayed in Ljubljana for a couple of days and a few more days at the coast. I definitely want to go back!

The Play Goes On–And The Summer That Was

The summer is slowly moving to an end, leaving memories that will be looked back at with fondness. It was a summer with very little internet and a lot of travelling: Budapest, Eger, Slovenia, Italy, Austria. It was a summer with visits and a lot of laughter.

The Autumn ahead is arriving with a plentitude of promises – promises of hard work (last year of uni is about to start), fun travels (Krakow is waiting in two weeks), and hopefully some bouts of creativity. The one thing I have been missing this summer is the writing, reading and pondering on the world…
