I wish I would have known, that...

... falling asleep during physics and chemistry wasn't  such a good idea. Life would be a lot easier these days if I knew what hydrocarbon is. It could also be helpful when translating the following sentence:
"...when properly bonded together and subjected to specific levels of optical and heat energy from various sources this composite material creates a passive energy field."

So, that is one of the things I do. Sometimes. Translations. Translating is mostly a fun activity: it's like a jigsaw puzzle where you have to find the right pieces to re-create the masterpiece, re-write the story (or the manual, which is less fun). You play with words, expressions. It can also be fairly educational: it gives you the chance to catch up on all that information you slept through in school (although nanotechnology might not have been invented back then).

Right. And the point is... nothing much really. Except that sometimes work can be quite interesting.
