Love the hat! (and the red eyes!)
Instead of Mexican food, we made some pizza. This is a really great idea, because everyone has the chance the choose whichever toppings they want to have on their pizzas. Our creations were really delicious yesterday!

Today a certain VIP is visiting us, unfortunately she prefers cuddling with people, and thinks that being stuck on the terrace is a bore.

Thanks :) Making your own pizza is a really good idea when there are picky people in your group: there's no need for compromises AND it's cheaper than eating in a restaurant!
When I lived in Spain, the Mexican food was absolutely horrendous.
The Mexican food here in California is way better because a lot of Mexicans live here.

Señorita: you are right, it is horrendous. That's why we usually make it ourselves (the end result isn't probably very authentic but it's good): in general I think that Spain is quite bad for trying foreign cuisines, they tend to stick to their own food.
if you want good Mexican you have to either go to Mexico or to the American Southwest which is a fairly dangerous place lately. I have an AMAZING Mexican place near my home and while it lacks the general ambiance and coolness of sitting around with locals in San Miguel de Allende, it's a close second. If you ever get the opportunity to go to Mexico, go. It's one of my favorite places on earth.
