Slovak Goodies: Nakladaný Encián

One of the things I really like here is nakladaný encián.  Encian, very much like the Czech Hermelin, are served both grilled, fried and pickled here. I really like the pickled (nakladaný) type and it’s all I eat when we go out.

The other day I tried making some of my own:


We will see what it tastes like in a few days. I will wait until then with sharing the recipe, wouldn’t want to cause anyone food poisoning Smile
