Places: Warsaw

Our trip to Warsaw was mind-blowing. That is the first word that comes to my mind. It was not my first trip to the Polish capital, but it certainly was the hardest one for my feet. We walked, walked and walked. Without using the map, we saw the sights and enjoyed the Polish hospitality. I was in heaven. Poland has changed a lot since I lived there, and I believe that Warsaw must have developed even faster. The whole city was like a construction site. We met an old friend of mine and ate a lot of pierogi. The ones with cabbage and mushrooms are my favourites. During this trip I finally understood the width and the depth of the ordeal that Poland as a country has gone through. It is an impressive country in many ways.
